“The true voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes.” Inspired by Marcel Proust’s insightful quote, this installation uses old CRT televisions to reveal aspects of self-perception, drawing from Nam June Paik’s <TV Buddha>. The installation features an interlaced display method, capturing participant’s real-time images via webcam.

Only movements reveal subtle temporal shifts, as frozen moments are absent.

As participants adjust the dials, they observe their reflections in real-time and experience the flow of time, offering a profound exploration of self-awareness and perception of reality.
