“In Between” is an interactive installation that explores the invisible emotional connections between people across time and space. Inspired by the Korean saying “옷깃만 스쳐도 인연이다” (even if our sleeves just brush against each other, it is fate), this work visualizes the mysterious intersections of human emotions.

We often feel traces of emotions in everyday moments – when viewing old photographs of strangers, we sense something beyond the image. When entering historic spaces like old theaters, we feel emotions lingering in the air, something we cannot quite explain but deeply understand. These experiences suggest that emotions leave marks, creating connections between people who may never meet.

“In Between” creates a space where these emotional crossovers become visible, allowing participants to witness the moment where past and present, self and others intersect.
