Jan 2025
Collaborative Performance
Choreography : Geon Kim
Sound : Andreas Grünauer

This performance was conceived, drawing inspiration from the concept of the human personal zone and from the traditional Korean mask dance, talchum (탈춤).
Each person’s personal zone can be imagined as an island — we are all born with different shapes and sizes of it. As we discover parts of ourselves we were previously unaware of, its form changes. It also transforms through changes in environment or encounters with others. Ultimately, by accepting other people into our lives, the boundaries of this personal zone expand, and we come to belong together within a shared space.
This process was expressed through a performance of about seven minutes in length.
